    The session was really engaging and the children were engrossed by the sound effects. The children had a go at making some of of these effects themselves after the session which was great fun.

    The children in our reception class thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the Storyteller. They were caught just by the tone and intonation of his voice. The sound effects completely locked them into his stories.

    the 100-seater food court in Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Centre - featuring Burger King, Rooster Chicken and El Taco Loco.

    Mrs Holloway Year 5 Teacher/KS2 Leader/English Leader at Flash Ley Community Primary School
    What a wonderful morning! Billy visited Flash Ley Primary on 6th February 2017. During the morning, he told stories to EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The children were captivated by his story-telling as well as stories about his own life. They particularly enjoyed the sound effects that Billy used to accompany his stories. Many children have been practising similar sounds!
    Following Billy’s visit, the children were inspired to write their own stories based on what they had heard during the morning. Even reluctant writers were motivated to create their own stories. These pieces of writing have been displayed along the corridors to show progression in writing from Nursery up to Year 6.
    Many thanks Billy for your inspirational story-telling that encouraged our children to become confident, creative authors!
